The  purpose of the study was to determine the prevalence of adrenal androgen 
(AA)  excess in the polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It determined the the 
prevalence  of DHEAS excess based on age and race. It also analyzed the impact 
of BMI and  fasting insulin on DHEAS levels.
